The Beekeepers x Grimper.ch
A Natural Partnership for Innovation
In the winter of 2024, The Beekeepers officially launched its urban beekeeping initiative, marking the beginning of an exciting journey to reconnect people with nature through sustainable practices. We are proud to announce our first partnership with Grimper.ch, a pioneering climbing company that has been at the forefront of democratizing climbing in Switzerland.
With five climbing gyms across the country, Grimper.ch has built a reputation for making climbing accessible to everyone—from beginners to elite athletes, guides, and outdoor enthusiasts. Their commitment to innovation and fostering a deep connection between urban environments and nature resonates strongly with our vision at The Beekeepers.
Through this collaboration, we have installed beehives at two of Grimper.ch’s locations, creating a unique space where nature and sport intersect. These sites will serve as a foundation for our educational and awareness programs, as well as for testing and refining our beekeeping services. From honey production to training sessions, Grimper.ch provides the perfect environment for us to experiment, optimize, and ensure that we deliver high-quality services to our future clients.
This partnership is more than just an installation—it is a shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the harmonious coexistence of urban life and the natural world. As we continue to develop our offerings, Grimper.ch will play a key role in helping us validate our products and services, ensuring that The Beekeepers delivers meaningful and impactful experiences to the community.
Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this journey together!

High Stakes, High Objectives
The Beekeepers’ 2025 Vision
AsBeekeepers, we believe that impactful change comes from bold ambitions. As we launched our journey in early 2024, we set out to create a beekeeping movement that would inspire communities, businesses, and individuals to take action for biodiversity. In January 2025, we formalized our objectives for the year and beyond—objectives that align with both the growing attractiveness of our services and the increasing commitment of our prospective partners to sustainable development.
Our roadmap is clear. By the end of 2026, we aim to:
- Install 30 beehives across French-speaking Switzerland, creating thriving pollinator-friendly spaces in urban and semi-urban environments.
- Deploy 100 beehomes, designed to support wild pollinators and enhance biodiversity.
- Produce 400 kg of high-quality honey, demonstrating that sustainability and responsible production can go hand in hand.
These numbers are not just targets; they are a reflection of our core values and the urgency that defines our mission. Biodiversity is under threat, and with pollinator populations declining at an alarming rate, we see it as our responsibility to act decisively. Every hive installed, every beehome placed, and every kilogram of honey harvested represents a step toward a more resilient ecosystem and a greater collective awareness of our dependence on pollinators.
Setting ambitious goals means pushing ourselves to innovate, collaborate, and continuously improve our services. We see our early adopters as key allies in this endeavor—partners who, like us, understand that sustainable action is not just a responsibility but an opportunity to lead by example.
By testing, refining, and scaling our beekeeping solutions with forward-thinking businesses and organizations, we are laying the foundation for a movement that extends beyond honey production. We are creating an ecosystem of engaged stakeholders, all working toward a common goal: reconnecting urban life with nature through tangible, high-impact initiatives.
The stakes are high, but so are our objectives. We’re just getting started, and we invite you to join us in shaping a future where cities and nature thrive together.

Beyond Honey
A Holistic Approach to Biodiversity
At The Beekeepers, our mission extends far beyond honey production. While our beehives play a crucial role in pollination and environmental awareness, we see them as just one part of a larger movement—one that actively fosters biodiversity, strengthens ecosystems, and inspires lasting change. Our work isn’t just about beekeeping; it’s about reimagining how we interact with nature in urban and semi-urban spaces.
Biodiversity loss is one of the greatest challenges of our time, and addressing it requires action on multiple levels. That’s why we go beyond simply installing hives—we create dynamic, living environments that support a wide range of pollinators and local wildlife. Our initiatives include working alongside schools to educate the next generation, collaborating with organizations to enhance green spaces, and integrating biodiversity solutions that make a tangible difference.
Our approach is rooted in innovation and adaptability. We continuously explore new ways to improve urban ecosystems, whether by developing habitats for wild pollinators, introducing plant varieties that sustain diverse species, or encouraging sustainable land management practices. Every partnership, project, and educational effort is designed to foster a deeper connection between people and the natural world, ensuring that conservation becomes a shared responsibility.
We believe that real change comes from collective effort. That’s why we work hand in hand with businesses, communities, and individuals who share our vision. By embedding biodiversity into everyday spaces—workplaces, schools, public areas—we create long-term impact, turning awareness into action and intention into results.
The future of biodiversity depends on innovative, multi-faceted solutions. Honey may be a beautiful byproduct of our work, but our true ambition is to build ecosystems that thrive well beyond the hive. Together, we can transform our environment into one that supports all life, one step at a time.
